Hey, I'm Tom 👋

With over 25 years of coding experience, I’ve worked across a range of languages—Ruby, PHP, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, and Swift—building everything from early-stage prototypes to large-scale applications. I love tackling interesting challenges and will happily tinker with anything that looks fun (or just tricky enough to keep me hooked).

I’ve helped shape products for startups like OLIO, Hanzo and BBC Maestro, where I am currently head of engineering. I also lend my expertise as a non-exec board member at Giki. Whether it’s scaling platforms, optimising performance, or designing seamless user experiences, I bring a deep understanding of both code and business impact.

When I’m not at the keyboard, you’ll find me spending time with my family, obsessing over cars and motorbikes, or geeking out over things like 3D printers.
